Please meet Dahlia!

Dahlia is another one of the dogs from our most recent kill shelter rescue mission. She has been through so much already, being “rescued” from a hoarding situation just to be dumped into the kill shelter to die. Now she is actually safe for the first time in her life, and ready for a family!

Weighing around 25kg, she is not expected to grow any more, other than maybe put on a bit more weight now she is being fed properly! She’s still a young dog, only estimated to be 2 and a half years old. Poor Dahlia is thought to be the mum of some of the other dogs that were rescued, especially as the first “owner” didn’t neuter any of the dogs!

Dahlia can be understandably a little nervous at first as she’s still unsure if she can trust humans. She does quickly warm up, and shows her loving personality. Enjoying both attention and playing, she will soon be your new best friend, she just needs someone who will let that happen at her pace!

Could you give our beautiful Dahlia a loving home?
