Meet Our Team

Ali has been volunteering with us for almost 4 years now, and still shows unwavering commitment to the dogs in our care! Ali’s area of expertise is adopter support, particularly in surrender situations. Our Roman rescue mission at the start of the year was largely organised by Ali, saving 16 lives! She is always happy to provide support to every other team member whenever possible.

Becky has been on our team for almost 4 years now, and has adopted 2 dogs from us in that time (and helped transport a few too). Becky is one of the more behind the scenes volunteers, being in charge of all things admin. All the important jobs such as paying fosters in Romania and sending adoption contracts are covered by her alone!

Beth does so much for us already but has recently taken on advertisements and dog assessments too! As well as helping Jade to run the shop, Beth also takes the lead on our fundraising efforts. Along with that, she’s now doing detailed assessments of all of the dogs we have in our rescue centres, and putting ads together for them to go on social media and our website.

You may know Emma from her visits to Alina's shelter in Romania, but she works tirelessly year-round for our rescue, heading up our adoption team and finding sponsors for the many dogs in our care. Emma does such a good job of finding sponsors that we now have more dogs sponsored than ever before, which is such good news for us as we can help more dogs in the future.

Haley joined our volunteer team this year, and has got stuck into learning the application process, to help with both adoption and foster applications. She is also responsible for keeping in touch with all of our fosters, and any adopters who surrender dogs, updating them on progress and answering any questions they may have. She also helps to answer queries on emails, messenger and our Facebook team.

Jade is kind enough to have a whole room in her house dedicated to our rescue shop. Your orders make her day, and she loves packing them up. So why not pop an order in today in her honour?  Home check calls are such a huge part of our application process, and Jade makes sure these are all done in good time. She is a pro and her chatty personality puts adopters at ease.

Many of you may already know Mary, and have received some of her amazing support. She has helped countless dogs to stay with their families during behavioural challenges. Mary also shares her knowledge through our monthly newsletter, and has even created some training handouts for us.

Natalie manages our foster team. This is a vital role, particularly with the increasing amount of surrenders in the UK. This involves assessing applications, building up a foster bank and supporting fosters when they are caring for a dog. We are always looking for new fosters so please get in touch if you can help and Natalie will be happy to have a chat with you!

Since joining, Sarah has powered through adoption applications with care and the dogs’ best interests at heart. She has taken all learning curves in her stride, not letting issues phase her. Sarah also helps with fundraising, and was the organiser of all of the incredible fitness equipment prizes you have seen over the last few months! All of this is done whilst having a house full of foster dogs for us too, always stepping in at their time of need!

Sue is in charge of our website, keeping it up to date and looking good at all times. On top of this, Sue does all of the paperwork needed for dogs to be able to cross legally into the UK! This is so important and we literally couldn’t get dogs into their loving homes without her! Despite doing all of this, Sue is always willing to help anyone and everyone whenever it is needed!
