Meet OUR Team

Hi, our names are Shirley & Maureen, and our mummy, Becky, adopted us through OUR in November 2020 and November 2021 respectively. Now, she volunteers to help other doggies like us who are still stuck in Romania. Mummy looks after the admin team, helps maintain the OUR shop, sends out contracts, helps organise transport runs and other important admin jobs.

Hi, I’m Saar. My Mummy, Ali, brought me over as a foster dog in November 2021, to learn how to live in a home with the help of my new doggy friends Epi and Luna. I got so comfortable on the sofa that I never left. Mummy volunteers in the adoption team of OUR, helping dogs like me to find their forever homes, and also does admin jobs.

Hello, we are Winter and Nessie! Our mummy, Natalie saved Winter in March 2021 and fostered Nessie in August 2021. We became the very best of friends and mummy couldn’t split us up so now we get to play with each other for the rest of our lives! Natalie helps all our friends back in Romania find homes by assessing them and finding out all there is to know about them. She then advertises our friends and helps the adoption team find the perfect forever home!

Hi our names are Elena and Cleo! Our mummy Beth adopted Elena in May 2021 and Cleo in August 2021 after being her failed foster. Since then she has started to volunteer with the team that worked so hard to save us! Mummy helps on the adoption team to find the best homes for as many other doggies like us back in Romania, and works very hard on fundraising too.

Hi I'm Barney! I was adopted from O.U.R on 1st January 2021 and absolutely love my new life! My human sister, Emma, decided she wanted to help more doggies like me so became a volunteer for the foundation. She works on the adoption team, puts together videos of available dogs and manages OUR sponsors too. She has also visited Romania a few times to see how the dogs are cared for in our shelter there.

Hi, we’re Clive and Lyra and we were adopted from Romania in July 2021 and March 2022. Clive was one of the C pups, and Lyra was Flame, one of the famous Bonfire Pups born after mum Sasha was rescued from the kill shelter while heavily pregnant. Our mum Sue now helps O.U.R with their website and newsletter and loves helping other dogs like us to find their forever homes in the UK.

Hi, my name is Zoey and my mum, Nikki, adopted me through OUR in October 2020. My mum still helps out with OUR when she can, helping with transport paperwork and microchips.

Hi! My name is Winston & I was rescued from the Romania by O.U.R, I was adopted by my mum Kassi in February 2021! My mum volunteers for O.U.R when she can, helping on the adoption team.
