Please meet Wendy!

Sadly this beautiful girl found herself, along with her son, in the kill shelter a few months back. Devastatingly, she ended up there after being abandoned by her family in a local city, and taken off the streets by the kill shelter.

Having been a good mum to her pup Poe who has recently found his forever home, it’s finally Wendy’s turn! She is just 4 years old, and despite how big her pup is, is only 11kg! She has such a lovely personality which would make her a perfect match for a family home.

This lovely natured girl loves to get attention from humans, but isn’t pushy and will happily wait her turn. Wendy spends her days roaming free at the shelter, so would adore a home with a garden to potter around in. Please note tall, secure fencing is a must as this athlete in the making can clear the fences of the pens at the shelter. She did bark at cars and bikes when she was on the street, but as she was in survival mode after being dumped, we can’t know if it was just out of fear.
