Please meet Moon! 🐶

You may remember her from our M pups a while ago. Sadly, she was surrendered by her family recently, but has absolutely thrived in her foster home since landing on her paws there. Moon has overcome a lot of anxieties and learnt a lot in her short time there.

This gorgeous 2 year old girl is currently living with her foster in the Basingstoke area. She currently weighs around 22kg, but is definitely on the leaner side. Her foster has been working to increase her weight, and her ideal would be around 24kg. Moon gets on well with the other dogs in the home, and does love canine company so could happily live with other dogs. She lived with cats in her previous home, but has not encountered any since her move.

Due to her anxieties, an adult only home with few visitors would be the perfect fit! The garden may be one of her favourite places, she absolutely adores sunbathing (and sitting in flower beds!) - so a home with a secure garden suitable for lounging is a must. Moon walks really well on lead, with no pulling and shows no reactive behaviours. In the home, she really is a super star! She doesn’t show any destructive tendencies, resource guarding or separation anxiety! Moon loves a cuddle with her humans and will make a loyal companion in the right home. She has gone from strength to strength in her foster home, and is really growing in confidence by the day. She would benefit from an experienced dog owner to continue this upwards path with her.

Moon is coming up towards her third birthday at the end of the year, and we would love to see her celebrate in her new home!
