Meet Valour

Valour is a sweet boy currently based in Dartford who has had a challenging start and is desperately seeking a patient, forever family. He is still in the process of decompressing from past stresses, and his current environment is unfortunately overwhelming him, which sometimes brings out negative behaviours. Valour is a lovely lad who simply needs time and space to settle and show his true, gentle self. He would thrive in a calm environment that allows him to relax and find his feet at his own pace.

Given his young age, he still has plenty of energy to burn, so be prepared for fun zoomies and some boisterous behaviour once he feels safe and happy! Valour forms strong, loving bonds with anyone willing to give him a chance to blossom. He needs a home without small children; however, he may do well with a confident teenager who can respect his boundaries. He might also truly benefit from having a confident resident dog companion to help build his social skills and overall confidence.

Valour already walks well on a lead, though he can be startled by people and cars. He will need his new family to be patient and reintroduce walks slowly at his own pace, helping him grow his confidence in the outside world. He is waiting for a family with a patient hand to guide him with kindness and clear boundaries, showing him that life doesn't have to be overwhelming.
