He is a brave and beautiful boy whose story will touch your heart. At just two years old he has already known deep disappointment.

When he ended up on death row in a Romanian kill shelter, his family were found— but they never came for him. When they couldn’t step up for their own family member, we did. Now, Valour is safe, and he’s searching for the forever home he truly deserves.

Valour is a gentle soul who adores people. He jumps for joy whenever his foster approaches, and once he has your attention, he melts into a cuddly companion. He is good with other dogs, though he can be territorial around food, so if living with another dog he simply needs to be fed separately.

He’s also kind with children, making him a wonderful family dog. On the lead, 20kg Valour walks beautifully and enjoys his outings, especially a walk to the shelter play area!

Valour has been let down once, but he hasn’t let that harden his heart. He’s ready to give his love, loyalty, and joy to a family who will never let him down again. Could that be you?
