Meet Chewie!

She is a 5-year-old sweetheart, weighing around 10kg, who’s looking for a safe and loving home after a tough start.

She came to us with her sister and a few other small dogs when their owner sadly passed away, and his wife could no longer manage their care. For some time, they all lived together in just one room with both cats and dogs.

She has a beautiful nature around other dogs - tolerating playful puppies in her pen at the shelter! Chewie is very comfortable with cats, having lived closely alongside them before. She used to enjoy daily walks with her late owner, and she’s ready to rediscover that joy with a new family.

She can bark for attention – but really, it’s just her way of asking to be included and loved.

Chewie is longing for a home where she won’t be overlooked, where she’ll be treated as part of the family and get the cuddles, walks, and companionship she deserves.
