Lost Dogs

Dog Lost is a website that allows you to register your dog as missing, and sends alerts to nearby people who can stay on the lookout. Although we hope our loved pets are never lost, sometimes this does happen, even if we don’t expect it.

One of the UK’s largest microchipping databases has reported that nearly 5000 dogs have been reported as lost between January 2023 and now, so it’s important to register on the Lost Dog website before you lose a dog. Not only will this save time should you need to register your own dog as lost, but it also means you can potentially help to find other lost dogs. By sharing lost dog alerts with their 160,000+ membership, Dog Lost can share details via email, social media and even their dedicated Police liaison team. Please visit them at www.doglost.co.uk to find out more.

Remember to ensure your details are kept up-to-date on PetTrac too, so that you can be matched to your dog’s microchip number. Finally, always let us know at OUR if you lose your dog - we will always help in every way we can.
