Public Plea for Help

Times are hard for all rescues at the moment. With the ban on importing dogs over from Romania into the UK, we are not only struggling with funds, but also the lack of interest with adoptions. Currently we have 29 dogs that are being advertised with many, many more ready and waiting their turn to be seen.

Typically we rehome between 20-25 dogs per month! So far we have 6 dogs confirmed for when the ban is lifted, which is way under what we are used to. With all these dogs still waiting to be adopted, we have no room at our fosters to save more dog, leaving the Public Kill Shelters full and the streets busy with strays.

Please find it in your hearts to share these beautiful and desperate faces with your friends and family.

If you're not in the position to adopt, you can help in other ways by sending a small donation or sponsoring an OUR dog. By sponsoring, you provide food and warmth for one dog and ensure they are cared for from month to month.

Sponsorship starts from as little are £19 a month and our adoption fees vary depending on the age of the dog.

Without these adoptions, OUR simply will not be able to continue the hard work we, as volunteers, do.
