Sunday Success Story
This week's Sunday Success Tale spotlights the remarkable journey of Hope, a beautiful, gentle mature lady.
For nearly four years confined to a pen, Hope's prospects of reaching the UK seemed bleak. Her days were spent yearning for a brighter future, her nose bearing scars from pressing against her wire cage.
However, fate smiled upon her when Whitney and Aidan graciously opened their home to foster Hope. In just a few weeks, Hope had woven herself into the hearts of her new foster parents and they decided to embrace her as a permanent part of their family.
Here's what they told us about their cherished new addition...
‘When we first decided to foster Hope we thought it was to help her, but it turns out she has equally helped us too. The amount of joy she’s brings to our life is priceless and she makes us burst with love and happiness every day.
She greets us every morning when our alarm goes off with bum wiggle, kisses, a tiny howl, piggy noises and snuggles. Then, spends most of her day laying on her back with her feet in the air asking for belly rubs. She loves attention and we love giving it to her!
Miraculously, after having virtually no experience on a lead in Romania, she stays directly by our sides on a walk and has never once pulled. She adapted so quickly to having her paws cleaned when coming home, that she now rolls over and patiently gives us each paw to clean.
It’s hard to imagine a dog being so perfect when she had such a cruel and unimaginable past. We are extremely blessed with how easily Hope settled in to our home and we’re so proud and impressed by her resilience.
The simplicity of our connection makes it feel very meant to be. We quickly became a family and knew that we had to adopt her. We can’t fathom a day without her.
Hope is perfect and oozes love every day. We’re so grateful to OUR for our baby!’
