Update on our Kill Shelter Rescue Dogs

As you may remember, last month we carried out a huge rescue mission, saving 17 dogs from the Uricani Public Shelter. All these dogs, plus many others, had ended up there after they were confiscated by police from a Spanish man who kept them all in a tiny camper van. They are not vaccinated or neutered and were breeding out of control. Sadly their fate was no better ending up in the public shelter. Many young pups died from parvovirus and the others were awaiting their execution date. We couldn't stand back and watch more dogs die so we put out an appeal to help 15 of the dogs. This number of course ended up rising, so 17 dogs were taken under our care. The other 18 were taken by other rescuers so thankfully, all dogs were saved.

Now that these lovely dogs have had time to settle in with Alina and Iuli at their safe shelter, we decided to properly introduce them to you all. We can't thank their sponsors enough for stepping in and giving these dogs a chance. Without the support of sponsors, it would not have been possible to rescue these dogs. We are also so grateful to everyone who shared and donated. All additional money raised for these dogs is going towards their vet bills, which as you can imagine are quite high with all the vaccinations needed.

Although all dogs initially found sponsors, unfortunately one of Patty's sponsors has cancelled their half subscription. We are so grateful that her sponsor was able to help us get Patty safe, but we now risk struggling to continue our care for her unless she finds another half sponsor. If anyone would like to support Patty, please sign up here - https://ourdogfoundation.org/store-doggy.../p/sponsor-patty

Thank you again for all your support. Together we really can save lives.
