Please meet Spud!

Meet one of our Christmas dinner puppies, Spud! This handsome boys luck changed after being taken off the streets by a kind family. Sadly the pups were at risk from the families adult dog, so they went to our shelter, which meant they were safe and allowed us to find them homes!

Spud is currently around 7 months old, and weighs 12kg. He and his brother Paxo are slightly older than the other pups. He is expected to stay a medium to large size of approximately 25kg when fully grown. He will need basic puppy training, including toileting and lead walking.

He is your typical happy, playful and confident puppy who would slot in well to any family home. Spud was great with the children who recently visited the shelter, and although he hasn’t met cats yet, being a young pup he should adapt just fine to living with them. He has so much love and fun to give to the family who gives her a second chance at life.
