Please meet Pogo!

Pogo is a gorgeous, bouncy girl who has been waiting patiently for her forever family.

We rescued Pogo two years ago from a kill shelter, where she had sadly been dumped after previously being “rescued” from a hoarding situation. When our rescuers arrived, Pogo immediately caught their attention. She was desperately jumping at the bars of her pen, doing everything she could to be noticed. Her cries were heard, and she was brought to safety.

And that’s how Pogo got her name! She was so excited to see people that she would bounce up and down like a little pogo stick!

Now approximately 4 years old and around 20kg, Pogo is a wonderfully friendly girl who absolutely loves attention. She enjoys cuddles, playing and spending time with both people and other dogs.

Pogo has a huge personality and so much love to give. She would adore a home where she can receive plenty of attention and be included in family life. She loves playing with the other dogs in her pen, but she could also happily live as the only dog in the home, provided she has doggy friends to meet on walks. She is also good on the lead, making her a lovely companion for adventures.

There is one thing her future family definitely needs to know… Pogo really does live up to her name! High, secure fencing is an absolute must for this energetic girl.
