Volunteer Vacancies
At OUR Dog Foundation, our mission is urgent and clear: saving dogs from death row and giving them the second chance they so desperately deserve. Every rescue, every wagging tail, and every happy adoption is a victory, but the need is constant and overwhelming. We are a passionate, grassroots team, but to continue expanding our reach and rescuing more lives, we need your help. We cannot do this alone.
You don't need to be on the front lines of rescue to make a life-saving difference. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to help keep the vital machinery of our foundation running smoothly behind the scenes. As highlighted in our current call for help, we have specific needs for individuals willing to assist with accounts and bookkeeping, driving fundraising initiatives, and helping with foster and adoption applications.
Whether you have professional expertise in these areas or simply a knack for organisation and a few spare hours a week, your contribution is invaluable. By lending your skills to the administrative side of our work, you ensure we have the resources and structure necessary to focus on what matters most: the dogs. Current Vacancies
Accounting
We are looking for a new volunteer to step in and help with our accounts for a few hours each month.
If you have accountancy experience and Xero knowledge, would you be able to help us to keep our finances up-to-date for HMRC? We are a non-profit community interest company (CIC).

Fosters/Adoptions
We are looking for volunteers to help guide families through our adoption and foster process. In this rewarding role, you will be the main point of contact for applicants, following up via phone or Messenger and conducting virtual home checks over video calls.
You don't need previous experience, as we will provide full training and support to ensure you feel confident. It is a wonderful way to play a direct part in finding safe homes for our dogs.
Fundraising
We are looking for creative and enthusiastic volunteers to help drive our fundraising initiatives.
As a non-profit, we rely entirely on donations to cover vet bills, transport, and kenneling for the dogs we save from death row.
Whether you have experience organising events, writing grant applications, or simply have great ideas for online appeals, your help is vital to keep our mission going.
