Meet Jak!

Jak has waited years, and even moved shelters, hoping someone will come along and give him a chance. At 7 years old, we hope this small boy will finally get his chance. He weighs just 9kg so is great for small dog lovers with the patience and home environment he needs! Jak is a sensitive boy who struggles with the noise and busyness of shelter life

He is quite a shy boy to start with, so would be best suited to a quiet, adult only home. Patience will be key with Jak, he needs to come around and trust you in his own time. He can get overwhelmed and jealous around other dogs, so would need to be the only pet in the home. We really believe he would thrive in an environment that is quieter than he is used to, and is such a sweet boy underneath his anxieties.

Jak will need someone to help him transition to a home environment, learn some basic training and most importantly gain confidence!
