Meet Bert! 🐶

Bert is a lovable little lad of around one and a half years old, weighing just 10kg. Small but long-legged, he’s packed with personality and is ready to find a home where he can finally be someone’s whole world.

Bert absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than being the centre of attention. He’s incredibly friendly, enjoys being picked up, happily climbs on your lap, and will soak up every cuddle and fuss you’re willing to give. If you’re looking for a little shadow to follow you around the house and keep you company, Bert could be just the dog for you. Plus, he absolutely loves having a good brush, which will make keeping on top of his slightly longer coat easy

While Bert loves people, he would much prefer not to share his home with another dog. He can become snappy when competing for attention and would be happiest as the only dog, where he doesn’t have to share his favourite humans. In kennels he can bark at dogs in pens, and he may guard his food from other dogs, although he has never shown any food guarding towards people.

He hasn’t been cat tested. Bert also hasn’t met children yet, but with sensible, respectful older children and the right introductions, he could settle well into family life.
