This one-year-old, 12kg bundle of energy and affection is ready to find his true forever home.

Codi is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a fantastic family companion. He’s playful, social, and happiest when he’s around people or other dogs.

Codi’s past hasn’t been straightforward. He did have a family, but their garden wasn’t secure, and he often managed to escape. Alina took him in to keep him safe. Although his family collected him the first time, when he returned by himself to the shelter a second time, they never came looking again. He waited patiently to be let in, and has never looked back.

Now in foster care, it’s clear that Codi thrives with company. He would love to have another dog in the home to play with, but if not, he will need someone who is home most of the day and who can arrange regular doggy play dates. Because he’s known to be a bit of an escape artist, a very secure garden is a must for this clever boy.

Codi is very friendly, full of character, and although he can be a little barky at times, his loving nature more than makes up for it. With the right home, he’ll be a loyal and joyful companion, always ready to brighten your days. Could Codi be the missing piece in your family?
