Meet Saturday!

She is a beautiful girl who has already been through so much in her young life. She was rescued from a kill shelter where she was so frightened that she even urinated when lifted to safety. Despite this heartbreaking start, Saturday has shown just how resilient and loving she can be.

She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe she quickly comes out of her shell. She calms down easily and shows her affectionate side, enjoying gentle attention and the comfort of kind company. With other dogs, Saturday truly comes alive — she is playful and full of fun, and she would thrive in a home with another friendly, playful dog.

Saturday is looking for a patient and understanding family who can offer her the stability she deserves. Because she is still scared of the lead, she will need a secure garden where she can relax and explore safely. She could happily live with children over the age of 12 and could also live with cats, provided they are introduced slowly and kindly.

At just a year and a half old and weighing 25kg, Saturday has her whole life ahead of her. She is ready to leave her past behind and blossom into the loving, loyal companion she is meant to be. All she needs is a family willing to give her that second chance.
