Meet Zelda! 🐶

Zelda is a beautiful 5-year-old, 30kg girl who has endured more than any dog ever should, yet she still greets the world with a wagging tail and a heart full of love.

For much of her life, Zelda was kept as a chain dog, knowing very little of the comfort, kindness, or freedom that every dog deserves. When she became pregnant, her owner made the heartbreaking decision that he wanted to kill both Zelda and her newborn puppies. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time, and her puppies were given the chance to live. Sadly she did go on to lose 3 of those puppies. Despite everything she has been through, Zelda has never let her past define her.

Today, Zelda is one of the sweetest dogs you could hope to meet. She is incredibly friendly, even with complete strangers, and absolutely loves a fuss. She thrives on human affection and is happiest simply being by your side, soaking up all the love she missed out on for so many years.

Zelda is good with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially playful puppies, but she doesn’t rely on having another dog around and would be equally happy as the only dog in the home. She hasn’t been cat tested, so any introductions would need to be approached carefully.

She is a quiet, easy-going girl who will happily wear a collar and doesn’t tend to jump up, making her a lovely companion to have around the home. She’s in good health, is neutered, and is now ready to leave her difficult past behind for good.
