Alina’s Shelter Update

We are so sorry we haven’t been able to update you much since the fundraiser. A few pens had been built, but not many builders seem to want to work in a dog shelter and have left Alina high and dry!

Thankfully, one is coming back to restart the work tomorrow! The dogs have been moved out of the pen that is being worked on, into the holding pen that was built with the donations. We will post updated photos of tomorrows work when we receive them, and hope the builder can make some good progress.

We are so excited the work is able to get on track again, and that in the meantime Alina was able to fight for a deadline increase for the building to be done. She is next due in court in September, so we are hoping we can get more pens built by then, to show the government we are working on it!

A huge thank you again to all those who helped us raise such a phenomenal amount of money, we wouldn’t be able to do any of these improvements without you. And we promise to continue to update as the work progresses.

We can’t wait to be able to share how it looks when it is all completed.
