Spotlight Dogs: Blossom’s Story

Hi everyone, my name's Blossom and I've been at the shelter in Romania for a few months now. I was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere, at the side of the road, with my sisters, Bubbles and Buttercup, but thankfully the lovely fosters in Romania saved us.

A few weeks later, our foster was driving past the same spot and found another 2 dogs there - my brother Boomer and my sister Bliss. Although they were saved too, we lost my lovely brother soon afterwards, due to very rare complications after a vaccine needed to protect us and allow us to be adopted in the UK. We still miss him, but our sister Bliss has been very lucky to find a home in the UK already and is now living with two other dogs from here called Lyle and Maisie.

I feel so lucky that I was found by our fosters in Romania, but it's a shame I will never be able to tell anyone how we ended up on the side of the road and what happened to our mum.

My dream now is to follow in my sister's footsteps and find my own forever home in the UK. By moving to the UK, I know that another dog will be able to be saved here in Romania, and I really do want a home to call my own too.

If you are interested in adopting me, I'm 6 months old and ready to travel to the UK at any time. I get on very well with other dogs but haven't had the chance to spend any time with cats or children yet. I'm currently 13kg and am told I'll be a large dog when I grow up!
