Halloween for Dogs

Halloween is a fun and exciting time for those who like to dress up, party and trick or treat. We know it’s fun and not real but our dogs don’t. Lots of noise, screaming, smells, movement and strange looking people are what we enjoy. Your dog hears unusual scary noises, strange unknown smells, lots of new people coming and going and lots of strange looking things that are moving around - people in costumes.

So enjoy the festivities but spare a thought for your dogs. Give them a quiet place they can get away to. Avoid taking them out with you. Start preparing your dog now with herbal calming remedies etc.

Please remember you know why you’re being scared and it’s only fun. Your dog doesn’t!
