πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄ OUR Romanian Takeover! πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄

Hopefully you will have seen the news this month that 4 of our wonderful volunteers travelled to Romania to spend time with Alina and Iuli at their shelter in Uricani. After a long journey to Cluj, they hired a car to drive over 3 hours to the shelter deep in the Romanian mountains, immediately getting a feel for the sheer number of stray dogs on the street before they even arrived at Alina’s shelter.

Emma, Beth, Sarah and Haley spent a week with Alina and Iuli, assessing dogs and helping as much as they could. This time spent with our dogs is invaluable to get a feel for what they really need from a future home, and it makes it much easier for us to match them with potential adopters in the future.

Another trip is already being planned for later in the year and we can’t thank our volunteers enough for giving up their time and money to make these visits a possibility.
