Reggie Update
OUR Volunteer Sarah went to visit Reggie at the kennels in Worcester yesterday. Here’s what she said about him:
Every time I visit Reggie he welcomes me with a smile a mischievous glint in his eye. He loves having attention and will proudly pose for my camera. Today he took great pride in showing me the new outdoor area at the kennels. He and his buddies love to have a run around, play with a football and fight for top position on the tires.
Reggie plays well with the other dogs and shows his youth whilst running circles around some of his older friends.
Although Reggie hasn’t found love in a new home yet he has found a loyal lady friend in Tess who seems to calm his boyish ways.
This was my second visit to the kennels today and the first thing I always get asked is “why Reggie hasn’t been lucky enough to find his forever home yet?”
He is a a well behaved boy at the kennels and lavishes them with affection. He is attentive and knows certain commands like ‘sit’ or ‘wait’. He walks well on a lead and likes to take his time smelling the flowers and grass. He enjoys a game of tug and war or a game of football. He will succumb to you scratching his back and roll over for you to tickle his belly. He isn’t a fan of the groomers but he is a handsome boy nevertheless.
Every-time I see Reggie he steals a piece of my heart.
