Sunday Success: Sorin’s Story

** ☀️🌒 A Very Special Sunday Success Story: Sorin 🌒☀️**

Back in April 2024, a heartbreaking discovery changed everything for Sorin. Iuli, the husband of our incredible rescuer Alina, found Sorin and his sister Luna abandoned as tiny newborns, not even 1kg in weight, left to die in the freezing Romanian cold. They were almost frozen when Iuli and Alina took them into their home with their lives hanging in the balance.

Determined to give them a chance, Alina and Iuli began an exhausting routine of two-hourly feeds, 24 hours a day, just to keep them alive. Despite their tireless efforts, Luna, passed away peacefully at just three weeks old. Her fighting spirit, however, lived on in Sorin, who grew stronger and cheekier with every passing day.

As Sorin thrived, everyone at O.U.R. could see what was inevitable: there was no way Alina and Iuli could part with him after everything they had endured together. Sorin had already found his forever family.

Now, at nine months old and already climbing towards 40kg, Sorin is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He spends his days roaming free with Alina and Iuli’s other rescue dogs, playing happily with pups and even cats. By night, he settles into the warmth of Alina’s kitchen, surrounded by love and safety.
