Please meet Chestnut!

He was found along with his sister, Acorn, abandoned at the side of the road like rubbish - right by the kill shelter! They risked freezing to death in February temperatures, or being found by kill shelter employees. Luckily Alina got there first. They were both skin and bones, weighing just 2kg each.

Alina has raised them both to a healthy weight, and Chestnut is on the hunt for a family! He is such a sweet, playful boy, who would slot in well to any home that opened their hearts to him. Currently weighing 8kg at approximately 15 weeks old, he is not expected to grow much beyond 20kg. He looks larger, but has lanky legs that make up a lot of his body!

Like a typical puppy, he will need ongoing training, including toileting and introduction to walking on a lead. We are sure he will pick this up in no time and make a perfect companion. He can hopefully travel as soon as May!

Could you be his perfect forever home?
