Please meet Acorn!

She was found along with her brother, Chestnut, abandoned at the side of the road like rubbish - right by the kill shelter! They risked freezing to death in February temperatures, or being found by kill shelter employees. Luckily Alina got there first. They were both skin and bones, weighing just 2kg each.

Alina has raised them both to a healthy weight, and Acorn is on the hunt for a family! She is such a sweet, playful girl, who would slot in well to any home that opened their hearts to her. Currently weighing 8kg at approximately 15 weeks old, she is not expected to grow much beyond 20kg. She looks larger, but has lanky legs that make up a lot of her body!

Like a typical puppy, she will need ongoing training, including toileting and introduction to walking on a lead. We are sure she will pick this up in no time and make a perfect companion. Acorn can hopefully travel as soon as May!
