Meet Solstice! 🐶

Solstice is a beautiful 5-month-old pup, currently around 13 kg and expected to reach about 25 kg fully grown. She arrived at the shelter with her sister Summer during the height of summer, after both were driven in the boot of a car in 40-degree heat. Alina and Iuli couldn’t turn them away — and since then, Solstice has been slowly learning that the world can be kind.

While her sister is the bolder of the two, Solstice has a gentle heart. She’s a sweet, sensitive girl who just needs a little extra time and patience to feel safe. Once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with quiet affection, soft tail wags, and those heart-melting eyes that say it all.

Solstice gets along beautifully with other dogs and often takes comfort in their company — she would really benefit from a friendly, confident dog in her new home to help show her the ropes. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but due to her young age, she could adapt well with proper introductions.

She could also live with calm, understanding children who respect her space and let her come out of her shell in her own time. Solstice isn’t a big barker and would love a peaceful home with a garden, where she can enjoy some sunshine and quiet time.

Solstice is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the chance to blossom at her own pace. In the right home, she’ll grow in confidence and show the gentle, loving nature that’s been waiting all along.
