Meet Iancu!

Iancu is a gentle 9-year-old chap, weighing around 35kg. He is a calm, steady soul who asks very little from life - a safe place to rest, regular meals, and someone kind to fuss him and let him feel loved.

Iancu’s past has been a hard one. He spent years as a stray, surviving on his own before being hit by a car, an accident that left him with a crooked leg. Later, he endured life as a chain dog, tied and restricted, with no freedom and no choice. Through it all, he quietly carried on. His leg healed in its own way, and while it remains crooked, it doesn’t stop him - he can walk just fine, adapting as he always has.

Despite everything he has been through, Iancu is a wonderfully calm and gentle dog. He is quiet, rarely barks, and has a peaceful presence about him. He enjoys sleeping, eating, and being fussed over - simple comforts he was denied for far too long. He listens well and has clearly learned how to coexist calmly with people.

Iancu can live alone or with a female dog, as he isn’t fussy and keeps to himself. Cats haven’t been tested. He is good with older children and would suit a calm household where things are predictable and relaxed. He doesn’t need chaos or constant activity - just kindness and consistency.

After years of surviving instead of living, Iancu deserves a home where he can finally rest his body and heart. He has already proven his strength; now he deserves softness, warmth, and the feeling of belonging. Iancu isn’t asking for much - just a quiet corner, a full bowl, and someone who will finally choose him.
