From Box to Belonging: Skye Finds Her Forever Home - this Sunday, we're celebrating a tail-wagging success story for Skye!

Skye was found abandoned in a box with her siblings on the side of a Romanian road when she was still a tiny puppy. Thanks to the incredible Alina, Skye and her littermates were given a safe haven,

Although Skye wasn’t under OUR care, we shared her details with a potential adopter and thought her chance of a forever home had come, but unfortunately, the adoption fell through. After this false start, we were determined to find the perfect home for her, and eventually she was spotted again, this time by the perfect family for her.

Aleks, Skye's new adoptive mom, tells us how Skye had settled in the year since leaving Romania: "Skye arrived after travelling a long way she was scared and timid. After a year of being with us she is a completely different dog. She is a loving, gentle girl and still timid but nowhere near how she was before. She loves her daily walks in the meadows, playing in the garden, chasing squirrels and sunbathing on the patio. She has fitted in with our family so well and we can’t imagine our lives without her."

We couldn't be happier for Skye and her wonderful family. Sadly, while Skye has found her forever home, her siblings are still searching for theirs. They're just as playful and affectionate as Skye, and all they dream of is a loving family.
