Rescue Crisis: Urgent Home Needed for Pablo
Pablo's family are struggling due to their circumstances to meet his needs. We are looking to move him urgently for the wellbeing of everyone involved, but haven’t had anyone follow through beyond completing an application
This gorgeous medium-sized boy is looking for a new home due to a change of circumstances in the family, meaning he’s not getting the attention or time he craves. He is 3 years old and currently located in Leicestershire.
Pablo is lead trained, occasionally pulling with excitement on walks, and knows basic commands. However, his recall would need work in his new home. He would suit a family with older children, and prefer to be the only pet. He is a very clever boy who has taught himself to open doors, so adopters may need to keep doors to outside locked incase!
Pablo does display some guarding behaviour around his food, this would need continuing management in his new home, which our team will support with. He can also display reactive behaviour on walks, but it mainly seems to be triggered by a dog reacting to him first! His perfect new home would be up for cuddles for large portions of the day, and for daily adventures too!
Pablo absolutely adores both long walks, and lazy cuddle days. He would make the perfect companion for someone who perhaps works from home, so could give him the company and activity he’s looking for. A garden for pottering around and lounging in the sun would be perfect!
