Meet Vasi!

Vasi is still just a baby at only 8 months old, weighing around 5kg, and he has already endured more hardship than any young dog should ever know. His previous “owner” treated him with cruelty, beating him and leaving him outside in the cold.

Despite this heartbreaking start to life, Vasi has kept his gentle nature and his ability to trust. He is now safe in a loving Romanian foster home, where he is beginning to learn that people can be kind.

His foster believes he is unlikely to grow much more, so he should remain a small size - perfect for someone looking for a little companion to share their home and heart with. Vasi is wonderful with other dogs and is also good with cats. Being so young, he could happily live with children in a family who will treat him with patience and kindness.

Vasi is not yet confident on a lead, which is completely understandable considering his past experiences, which sadly included people trying to hang him. This is simply trauma that will fade with time, gentle encouragement, and positive experiences. With love and security, he will learn that walks can be enjoyable and safe.

He would make a beautiful companion for a family home, someone who can give him the stability, warmth, and affection he has always deserved. In return, Vasi will offer loyalty, love, and the special bond that only a rescued dog can give.
